Gustav is the Visual Communications Manager for Exchange Japan 2012. Having finished his Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Physics at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm in 2010, he is currently working towards a Master’s degree in Mathematics at the same university. He has studied a year abroad on two occasions, in the United States and in Mexico, and his experiences there has made him eager to lengthen that list. To this end, he chose to apply for Exchange Japan 2012.

Among things, he enjoys the occasional cup of tea, reading, exploring, and exercising. As Visual Communications Manager, he aims to find a visual theme for Exchange Japan 2012 that relays a kaleidoscope of Japanese history, contemporary society, cultural heritage, powerful natural scenery, and technological sophistication.
