Hannes Tordengren is the Event Manager in charge of Sweden Day at the Swedish Embassy and Hitotsubashi University in Japan. After receiving his high school diploma, it took him four years to arrive at the Stockholm School of Economics, where he now studies at the Bachelor’s programme in Business and Economics. After high school he spent two years in the military, starting his service as an intelligence assistant. He spent the next year working as a teacher. His great interest in languages brought him to Uppsala, to study Russian and French, which later on took him to Kiev, where he worked for one year with migration issues at the Swedish Embassy.

Through this project he hopes to explore another part of the world through the eyes of Japanese students, but also in close cooperation with Swedish companies to get their perspective of Sweden in Japan, and vice versa.
